“When we started looking for our first house, our knowledge of mortgages was limited to say the least. We were recommended James by a friend and booked an appointment with him quickly. We were given the option of a time and place that worked for us and from the offset he made things clear. James explained everything to us, from getting our mortgage and contacting solicitors to insurance.

From then on things couldn’t have been simpler. James made what could have been a very stressful process easy. He handled all communications with the solicitor, helped us with any paperwork and was available to meet up any time we needed him. He also advised us on life insurance policies and helped us get those set up too.

“We contacted several Mortgage brokers over a period of a couple of months, due to living in 2 different cities at the time, the weekend was the only time we had to discuss the home buying process in detail. We contacted James on a Sunday morning and were not expecting a reply until Monday working hours but we got a text back almost immediately.

When we were looking for a house, we found James so helpful that we would seek his advice with the houses that were looking at, he would let us know how much we could offer before we put in an offer and we would always ask his opinion before doing so.

After the offer was accepted James gave us advice with the surveys and the one we required. James suggested a solicitor who was as personal, quick, and effective as himself and between the two of them I felt as though we had the absolute best team possible when purchasing a house.

Due to the surveys bringing up more work than we originally thought, we needed to renegotiate, during this process everything that James said would happen came true. To us these situations seemed rare and unique but James’ professionalism and experience meant that he was able to calm us down during our breakdowns.

When it came to applying for our mortgage and insurances, James was able to meet with us in a manor that suited us around our work/personal life. He was knowledgeable and broke down the options for our mortgage in a way that reassured us that we were making the right choice for us, however he didn’t just advise us of what is best for us now but he was already aware of our life goals from our first visit and gave us his advice for our next mortgage also. He gave us 12 options for what was best for us and never once rushed us to make a decision.
